CAF boss, Ahmad Ahmad, banned for five years by FIFA

The Confederation of Africa Football President Ahmad has been hit with a 5-year boycott by the world football administering body FIFA.

FIFA referred to monetary unfortunate behavior as one reason for his restriction from football.

Ahmad was hit with four breaks and will now not be qualified to challenge for the following CAF Presidential races scheduled for March 2021.

“The adjuratory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee has found Ahmad Ahmad, the President of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) and a FIFA Vice-President, guilty of having breached art. 15 (duty of loyalty), art. 20 (offering and accepting gifts or other benefits) and art. 25 (abuse of position) of the 2020 edition of the FIFA code of ethics, as well as art. 28 (misappropriation of funds) of the 2018 edition,” part of the statement reads.

Consistent Omari will go about as the Association's leader before another political race is held.
