Legon Cities confirm the signing of Asamoah Gyan, Mathew Anim Cudjoe and 12 others

Legon Cities have officially confirmed the signing of Ghana’s all time top scorer Asamoah Gyan.
Gyan, who has been without a club since leaving Indian fold North East United in January 2020 signs for Legon Cities on a year-deal.
The 34-year-old, who once confessed his desire to play for Kotoko before he hangs his boots was in discussion with the club over a possible in recent.
But the discussion wasn’t as smooth as people thought it’ll be, with reports stating the move stalled due to the financial demands involved.
Without hanging back, Legon Cities pounced on the opportunity to sign Gyan in a deal reported to be worth more than $1m, one which will be in cash and in packages.
As part of the deal, Legon Cities have also signed teenage sensation Mathew Cudjoe. The youngster took the Premier league by storm whiles on loan at Kotoko last season, but the Porcupine Warriors could not sign him on a permanent deal.
The club also confirmed the signing of Raphael Ocloo, Baba Mahama, Jonah Attuaquaye, Ali Braimah Foster, Nicholas Gyan, Micheal Ampadu, Joseph Adjei, Samuel Norgbey, Vincent Adu Gyamfi, Elvis Opoku, Nasiru Moro and David Cudjoe.
Legon Cities will commence the 2020/21 Ghana Premier league season with a home game against Berekum Chelsea.
