Faidhatu-Tijaniyya Ibrahimiyya Council of Ghana launches final peace campaign
The Public Relations Officer of the above mentioned renowned religious and humanitarian organization, Mohammed M. Ali, has stated categorically yesterday in a press release, that the council in its commitment to peaceful elections, launches a final peace campaign.
He further stated in the release that, the spiritual leader of the organization, His Eminence Sheikh Mohammed Salis Shaban, who is also the Grand Khadim and Khalifa of Baye Niasse for Ghana, Togo & Benin, makes a reinstatement of this commitment together with other Islamic luminaries.
Quoting from the Sheikh directly, the PRO said "Remember we only have one Ghana which is incumbent on us to protect. We offer our prayers always for the development and prosperity of Ghana. No one has any right to force their opinion on you just like you also bear no right to do such. Therefore, we admonish each other with patience and uprightness as we head towards this election. Allah bless Ghana, and make her Great and Strong."
The campaign that was supposed to last from till the election period is over was titled 'SHEIKH SALIS SHABAN FINAL PEACE CAMPAIGN 2020' and then launched, with the accompanying theme: Spread peace, and enjoin patience!
