NDC supporters clash with Police at EC head office (Video)
National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters have clashed with police at the offices of the Electoral Commission in Accra.
Supporters are pressing for the Electoral Commission to overturn its decision to name Akufo-Addo as the 2020 election winner.
They say that NDC flagbearer John Mahama is the real winner of the polls and that the winner must be declared.
In other parts of the world, a similar protest was organized, but this one turned bloody on December 17, 2020.
With hundreds of placards, supporters can be heard chanting "No Mahama No Peace"
As the supporters began pelting stones at the police, the protest that was supposed to be peaceful turned bloody.
The police also fired rubber bullets on the angry supporters and released water cannons.
For now the police have been able to calm the situation.
