Prominent members of NPP storm Wenchi High Court to witness court's ruling on Sene West electoral petition (Video)
A number of influential members of the NPP have arrived in Wenchi, in the Bono region, before the High Court ruling on the Sene West electoral petition.
The petitioners are seeking to give their favor to Joseph Markay Kumah, the Sene West New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, as a parliamentary elected member at the recently ended parliamentary elections.
In the last sitting, the petitioners removed their interlocutory injunction with the court slapping them for damages for six thousand.

The Electoral Commission released a statement on the number of parliamentary seats won at the just-ending general elections by the 2 major political parties.
According to the declaration, of the 275 constituencies, 137 have been won by the NPP, 136 by the NDC and 1 by the Independent Candidate Lawyer Andrew Asiamah Asamoach. The total number of seats declared so far amounts to 274.
The only seat which remains to be declared by the EC is the Sene West electoral district in the Bono East region.
In the Greater Accra Region, the NDC secured the highest number of seats with 20 constituencies, and the NPP's stronghold Ashanti Region captured 42 seats.
Of the 275 members of the 7th Parliament, at least 108 won't return to the House of the 8th Parliament, either because they lost the primaries of the parties, because they withdrew or lost their seats at the elections of the 7th December.
This means approximately 39,20% of all 275 MPs are not back in the house.
