Proud NPP appointees will no longer be tolerated - Kennedy Agyapong
Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong noted that some of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-nominees Addo's were extremely arrogant towards Ghanaians prior to the elections.
In the just-ended presidential and parliamentary polls, this, he said, nearly created problems for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Agyapong said on Net2 that proud appointees will no longer be tolerated by the party.
“I constantly raised issues about the attitude of these arrogant ministers but they said I was destroying the party.
“Clearly, their arrogant posture nearly created problems for the NPP in the elections. This time we are not going to allow that to happen,” he said.
Their arrogant posture, obviously, almost created problems for the NPP in the elections. We're not going to allow that to happen this time," he said.
He further revealed that most of the NPP's supporters were neglected by the appointees and disrespected.
Nevertheless, he said, during the polls, these supporters stood by the party.
“The same party supporters who were neglected stood by us. It teaches us one lesson that we should not take them for granted, he said.
