Samini commends Ghanaians for overcoming partisan politics (Video)
Ghanaian Dancehall artist Samini congratulated Ghanaians, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NDC former president John Dramani Mahama for their peaceful conduct in the just-ended presidential and parliamentary elections, and asked Ghanaians to assist the president in the work of Ghana.
Samini told social media in a video that Ghana won the elections and commended Ghanaians for overcoming partisan politics.
Samini thanked them for their good work in motivating Ghanaians to help the President-elect fulfill his mandate with success for the next four years.
"Big congratulations to the whole of Ghana for putting Ghana first, congratulations to everybody that went out to vote ... thank you for making this a peaceful and transparent election. Thank you for not making violent,"
"Kpoyaka, you've done it all. Big up yourself His Excellency ex-President Mr Mahama for also making it peaceful and making it calm. Big yourself, the opposition party, big up yourself NPP, big up NDC, this peace wouldn't have been possible without all of you working together," he said in the local dialect
Samini is one of the many celebrities who endorsed the NPP and Akufo-Addo.
