Sad: Die hard New Edubiase Fan dies in gory accident, 4 players left injured

A die hard New Edubiase fan named Abass Sumaila lost his life on Saturday, January 9 in a gory accident.
Abass Sumaila, who is popularly known as Gambo was on his way to watch his side’s play their Division One League opener with Achiken FC at the Nana Gyamfi Park in Bekwai.
Unfortunately, Abass uncounted an accident and in the process lost his life.
According to an eye witness who spoke with FootballMadeInGhana.com, the deceased was in a Sprinter bus, the Sprinter Van burst a tire while descending the Fomena hill and the driver lost control of the vehicle which veered off into a ditch.
Four people who were passengers on the vehicle died on the spot, two others also died moments after being rushed to the hospital, including Sumaila.
Abass Sumaila was buried earlier today per Islamic conventions.
Meanwhile, New Edubiase United won the game 1-0 against Achiken FC.
