Brainhaus Concept Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Winfred Nii Adjayi has lambasted Dancehall Artist Shatta Wale and Rapper Okyeame Kwame for abusing the artists of Kumerica without helping them accomplish their dream.
The term Kumerica consists of two terms, so Kumasi and America are fused together to make "Kumerica." Kumasi, meanwhile, is the capital of Ghana's Ashanti Region.
Kumerica is about living life like an American but residing in the Ashanti region, according to those who digitally championed the word.
Shatta Wale, a dancehall musician, travelled all the way from Accra to Kumasi to introduce the Kumerica artists with the promise of taking them to the fore.
In view of the fact that he comes from the city, Okyeame Kwame also pledged to help Kumerica's vision and the artists.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Angel Fm Entertainment Show hosted by Ike De Unpredictable supervised by MyNewsGh.com, Music Producer cum Presenter Winfred Nii Adjayi said Shatta Wale featuring Kumerica artists was not because he wanted to support them but to make money from the boys' shine.
"Tema, Tamale and other regions have underground artists who are struggling to come to the fore, according to Winfred Nii Adjayi, "Why is Shatta Wale not going there to help them? Shatta Wale knew that Kumerica was famous and he wanted to take advantage of it, but not to support it.
Shatta Wale is very greedy and an opportunist who always wants to take every opportunity to make money. His focus wasn’t championing of the Kumerica but how to make money from Kumerica trending. The Kumerica boys are still struggling to come to the limelight,” he observed.
