Ensure Fairness in Political Mileage – CPP Leader Tells Media
Nana Frimpomaa has bemoaned the deliberate efforts of most media houses to crowd out the CPP and other political parties on media coverage.
The chair and leader of the Convention People’s Party Nana Frimpomaa made this known at an interview session granted her at the ongoing workshop organized by Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) at Ada.
Nana Frimpomaa said, if truly the media prides it self as the forth estate of the realm and believes it’s activities deepen democracy, a level playing field should be given all political parties to be heard.
She added that the good people of Ghana are fed up with the chicken and egg situation where only the NDC and NPP consumes the entire airspace deliberately given out by the media. ‘The tenets of democracy ensures equal and fair play’.
The Okukudru-Hemaa said, her outfit is always ready to debate national issues and the CPP with its current and vibrant leadership is poised to make the difference this time.
The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers workshop ends today with key recomendations by stakeholders aimed at improving Ghana’s electoral system.
