Gov't and Insurance Commission urged to beef up insurance policy - Hollard Ghana

The Managing Director of Hollard Ghana, Nashiru Iddrisu has urged the government and the insurance commission to beef up insurance policy to get the interest of Ghanaians because the insurance penetration in Ghana is just 1%.
The MD has encouraged Ghanaians to engage in life insurance to secure a better life.
According to him, the Hollard Life Insurance want to ensure access to insurance as a social good and an enabler of better futures for Ghanaians, and also make it a point to be a catalyst for enduring change by providing insurance products that serve the needs of Ghanaians.
He added that the Hollard Life Insurance has partnered with Vodafone Ghana to introduce insurance product “MeBanbÉ”” Which can easily be accessed via a mobile phone by dialing *269#.
He noted that MeBanbÉ” offers packages of GHS 1000, GHS 5000, GHS 15000 and GHS 30000 funeral and disability cover for premiums as low as GHS 1, GHS 5, GHS 15, and GHS 30 respectively.

Speaking at the launch of “MeBanbÉ”” life insurance at the headquarters of Hollard Ghana in Accra, the head of premium administration, Josehp Agyen Frimpong further stressed that the Hollard Life Insurance is open to everyone and also willing to release the claims of customers without any difficulty.
He added that partnering with Vodafone is the best way to achieve a successful goal.
