Al-Falah Islamic school wins maiden edition of MSTV GH Musabaqah

Al-Falah Islamic school,Maamobi, has been crowned the winners of the maiden edition of MSTV GH National Islamic Quiz “Musabaqah” in a tight competition among three other Islamic schools on Thursday 6th May, 2020 at Nima Maamobi Community library, under the theme “Revitalizing the Ramadhan spirit with qur’anic recitation”, to encourage the youth in Arabic in schools to keep up.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting (sawm), prayer, reflection and community. A commemoration of Muhammad's first revelation, the annual observance of Ramadan is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam and lasts twenty-nine to thirty days, from one sighting of the crescent moon to the next.
As a Month of love, sharing, tolerance, meditating and reciting the Holy Quran the management of MSTV GH wishes to champion the desire of recitation within the 30 or 29 days of spirit journey.
MS TV GH is privately owned online television and radio with the aimed of projecting Ghanaian and African values through well planned strategies to tell the real story to the world. The event is to give back the Muslim community through such programming “Musabaqa” etc.
Twelve Islamic Schools competed in eight episode series for the Top most Honors and spiritual fortification during this holy ramadan.
It started airing on 16th April to 6th May 2021, on MSTV GH, Iqra Show Ghana and Junior Muntari 1 all on Facebook and youtube, at 8:00GMT Friday and Sunday and EBN TV on Saturday and Monday 3:30GMT.
Participating Schools were Al Ittihajiya Islamic School, Tafsiliyya Islamic School, Al-Muhajiruna Answar Islamic School, Firdaws Islamic School, Al-Fallah Islamic School, Darul Hjira Islamic School, Qubatul Khadra Islamic School, Halaqatul Masjid Rasul Islamic School, Irshadiya Islamic School, Madrasatu Rahman Islamic School.
With support from MS Auction cars, Palace of Hausa Chief of Nima, Bureau for distributing Islamic Book and Charity, Iqra Show Ghana and Hassy Frutta Juice.
The event was graced by Sarki Hausawa Nima, Alhaji Shaibu Salley, Chief of Ruga, Management of Bureau of distributing Islamic books and charity, head of teachers and many more.
Al-Falah Islamic School Maamobi which was represented by Sa’ad Abubakar Larry and Badaru Abdul Jalil scored 18 points out of 20points. Second by Tafsiliya Islamic School Nima with 17 ½ points, Al-Muhajiruna Islamic School- Ashiaman with 17 points and 13 ½ point for Al-ittihadiya Islamic School-Frafraha.
The winners took home brand new laptop, Cash prize and hamper for whole the student also took hamper with cash prize. Second runner-up took brand new laptop and hamper whiles the students also bagged cash prize with hamper.
Third placed school picked cash prize hamper whiles the forth school also picked consolation prize and all eight evictees gets certificate of participation and T&T.
