After Free SHS, People Must Work, 1D1F is a Failure, Fix The Factories - CPP Goes Tough on Government
The Convention People's Party has celebrated its 72nd Anniversary in a Kumasi with a clear call on government to fix defunct factories built by Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana only multi-visionary President.
The cute ceremony was addressed by national leadership of the party and hosted by CPPs Ashanti Region Chairman, Comrade Galo. Addressing irate youth, the chair and leader of the party Nana Frimpomaa called on current government to go beyond the free SHS mantra and create jobs for the youth. The vibrant leader has made it clear that governments 1D1F will remain a fiasco until conscious effort is made to revive all factories built by CPP under Osagyefo.
The vibrant leader added that truncating CPPs Government in 1966 is evident in today's lack of political direction, the endemic poverty, the lack of decent accommodation, the lack of jobs, the hardship, the total collapse of the economy, the persistent youth agitation and the lack of trust in our political leaders.
'If this very pencil factory and many others built by Nkrumah across the county but deliberately abandoned and left to rot were functional, millions of youth would have been actively working and that means they would be able to feed themselves and their families', she added.
The General Secretary of CPP Nana Yaa Jantua called on the youth to rally behind the party as CPP prepare to take over the management of the economy in 2024.
