Madina-Adenta Highway goes Green To boost Green Ghana Project
The Gardening of the Madina-Adenta Highway is an initiative by the LaNkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly in line with the vision to make Accra work again by the Greater Accra Regional Minister.
The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey, has commended the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor for the initiative to make Ghana Green and if falls under the aim of the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council to make Accra work again aside the demolition.
He further commended the Municipal Chief Executive, (MCE), Mrs. Jennifer Dede Adjabeng for her hard work to get stakeholders on board to join in the aim to make Accra work again especially in Madina.adding that her contribution is one of a kind and should be recognized and portray by others.
Addressing the media after the tree planting in the median of the road and the sides the Madina-Adenta Highway, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey stressed that attention will be given to the garden to see the full growth of the trees.
On the part of the LaNkwantanang Municipal Assembly, the MCE, Jennifer Dede Adjabeng also added that the Assembly will do the best to make the trees and the flowers grow well, as she urged individuals to also help maintain the trees and flowers to keep it healthy.
