Leader of Ofankor Zongo community appeals for funds to fence a secured seven acre land as cemetery for Muslims
Sarki Issah Mohammed, leader of Muslims in
Ofankor Zongo, has pleaded with the general Muslim public to help fence a seven acre land he has secured for burial of deceased Muslims at Amasaman-kotoku in
Accra.
The land which is situated at Amasaman-Kotoku Papase area will be used as cemetery for Muslims in the Greater Accra region as the Madina and Awudome cemeteries are almost full.
In the light of event, a young man was even caught digging a two-bed room foundation on the said land.
Sarki Issah Mohammed therefore calls on all Muslims around the globe to make donations in cash or materials to fasten the process.
