No room for Asamoah Gyan and Stephen Appiah as IFFHS names it men all-time Ghana Dream team

Globally recognized statistical firm International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has named it men all-time Ghana Dream team.

The statistical firm opted for 4-5-1 formation but surprisingly there was no room for Asamoah Gyan who’s Ghana’s all-time scorer (51 goals) and the player with the most appearances (109 caps).

There’s also no room for Stephen Appiah who led Ghana to it first World Cup in 2006 and is widely regarded as the greatest captain of the team.

In post for the Dream team is former Asante Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarfs goalkeeper Robert Mensah.

The back four is occupied by Hearts of Oak legend Emmanuel Ofei Ansah, ex-Bayern Munich Star Sammy Kuffour, Sekondi Hasaacas legend James Kuuku Dadzie and multiple Seria A title winner with Juventus Kwadwo Asamoah.

In midfield, CAF Champions League winner with Asante Kotoko Ibrahim Sunday, former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien, dribbling magician Mohammed Polo, Abedi Pele and Asante Kotoko legend Karim Abdul Razak were selected.

Leading the attack is Anthony Yeboah who featured in the English Premier League and Bundesliga during his hay days.
