NPP aspiring chairman mourns with the family of Omanhene of Offinso traditional area
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Treasurer and aspiring national chairman, Mr. Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah has mourned with the family of the late Omanhene of Offinso Traditional Area, Nana Wiafe Akenteng III, during his funeral rite.
He conveyed his deep sympathies to the bereaved family particularly in these difficult times.
Mr. Abankwah-Yeboah was accompanied by the 2nd vice national chairman, Mr. F.F Antoh and the national youth organizer, Henry Nana Boakye on Thursday 24th February 2022, to pay their final respect to the late Wiafe Akenteng III, Omanhene of Offinso Traditional Area.

The Omanhene of Offinso Traditional Area, Nana Wiafe Akenten III declared at the launch of the Offinso State Book that cannot be said to have achieved something valuable without documenting the history of his people. Nana said he was invited by Takyimanhene, Oseadeeyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV to the launch of the Takyiman State Book; it was after the Book Launch that he realized that there is no legacy a chief can leave behind other than written history of his people.
Nana Offinsohene, after realizing the importance of the project invited the Ghana State Book Project to undertake similar exercise towards producing Offinso State Book.
His celebration of life, as a great patriot was organized at OFFINSO IN THE ASHANTI REGION.
