That boring education 

That happy graduate

That anticipation

That big disappointment 

That long wait

That famous advert 

That gathered all hope in one

That egg laid

That famous email 

That connected well

That satisfaction

That famous call 

That invitation 

That interview 

That famous alert 

That joy in the heart

That relief 

That famous expectation 

That conditions of service

That long war. 

That frustration 

That stuck reality 

That search for meaning.

That uncertain exit

That meagre benefit 

That painful cry.

That end.
