Dag Heward-Mills’ son, David, passes away on Good Friday
Sorrows dropped as rain as the Sudden demise of the first son of Dag Heward-Mills, founder of the Lighthouse group of churches formerly Lighthouse Chapel International occurred in the united states on a good Friday.
Reports indicate that the 31-year-old David Heward-Mills passed away after a brief illness yesterday April 15, 2022. A day where Christians across the globe celebrate the death of Jesus Christ, a significant point in their Christian lives.
David Heward-Mills was a medical doctor who worked as a research physician at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Galveston and as a resident physician at Prisma Health Center, Columbia in the United States of America, for almost two years.
His startling death was announced in a communique issued to the church today, April 16, 2022.
“It is with deep regret and great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing away of David Heward-Mills, after a short illness. David was the first son of our Founder and Presiding Bishop.”
“We, also as a church, are heartbroken, however, we stand with our leader and his family and believe that God will comfort and see us through this very difficult season.”
“Please respect their privacy during this difficult time. Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course,” The communication to the church members read.
