NDC PC RACE: DR KWABENA DUFFUOR JNR SUBMITS NOMINATION FORMS

Dr. Kwabena Duffour Jnr  has submitted his nomination forms to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary Primaries in the Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency of the Ashanti Region.

The Constituency seat which is currently held by the NDC incumbent MP Alex Adomako Mensah is expected to be keenly contested between the two who are said to be directly related.

On Thursday, April 27, a Member of the “Duffuor for President” campaign team, Dennis Ofori-Asiedu, together with some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party in the Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency submitted the nomination forms on behalf of Dr. Kwabena Duffour Jnr to contest the parliamentary candidate race in the Constituency. 

Presenting the forms, Comrade Linus Njonolah who spoke on behalf of the team said, Sekyere Afram Plains needs development and the man to lead that charge is Dr Kwabena Duffuor Jnr whose contest is by popular request from the grassroots.

Adding that the vision of Dr. Kwabena Duffour Jnr is in the interest of the grassroots so they ought to give out all their support and resources to cushion this agenda for better future development in the Sekyere Afraim Plains constituency.

The forms were received by the Elections Director, Comrade Ernest Opoku who advised the supporters of the aspirant to engage in a clean campaign. 

The Constituency Secretary, Kenneth Baanye  also advised the supporters to work hard as the success or failure of the aspirant depends on them.

Comrade Dennis Owusu Dankwa, a former Constituency Secretary and a former Parliamentary Aspirant led a team of supporters to witness the event held at the party office.
