Pantang Nursing Training College appreciates lawyer Sosu over borehole construction
The advisory board, management, staff and students of Pantang Nurses’ Training College (Mental Health) have expressed their profound gratitude to the efforts of the Member of Parliament, Madina constituency, Lawyer Francis Xavier-Sosu regarding their request for the drilling of a borehole.
According to the Chief Health Tutor, Principal, Mrs Lydia Kanyo Hiamey Hafoba, the MPs commitment to enhancing the amenities and resources accessible to the neighbourhood is admirable. Every institution should have access to a dependable water supply to operate efficiently, especially healthcare and educational institutions.
She emphasized, the drilling and installation of the mechanized borehole at the Nurses' Training College, Pantang will not only help with the problems caused by a lack of water but will also improve the general health and productivity of the faculty and students.
“As promised, on 14th June, 2023 a team from your office (the Honorable Member of Parliament for Madina's office), led by the Madina constituency chairman Alhaji Faila Ibrahim, a representative (Administrator) from the Municipal Health Directorate of La-Nkwantanang Madam Selassie Terkwor Nyaunu, the Secretary to Kuwait Embassy Osman Iddrisu Ibrahim and the Project Manager Miqdaad Shaibu Zakari and significant others arrived at the college for the ceremonial breaking of the ground and the official handing over of the project to the project's financiers, the Risk for Aid Foundation, in co-operation with Alhaji Issahaku Zuberu Bako on this very day, the project started in earnest” she stated.
Mrs Lydia Kanyo Hiamey indicated that the benefit of this kind gesture will be enormous for students’ daily activities and significantly impact the college as a whole.
“We applaud your dedication to meeting the requirements of the Nurses' Training College, Pantang. We respectfully ask that at least another drilling project be extended to include the other hostels that face comparable water-related problems” she added.
She opined that the MPs ongoing assistance and cooperation are crucial to the accomplishment of their goals.
