Leandro Paredes and Renato Sanches left Paris Saint-Germain for AS Roma on a permanent deal worth €4 million and on a €1 million loan respectively.
Renato Sanches has a €15 million buy clause in his agreement with the club that becomes required if he plays 60% of the games.
Both the 29-year-old Argentine and 25-year-old Portuguese will undergo medical testing in Roma.
Paredes on November 6, 2010, made his league debut for Boca Juniors in a 2-0 loss at Argentinos Juniors. He joined Italian Serie A team Chievo Verona on January 29, 2014, for the remainder of the 2013–14 campaign.
The defensive midfielder was part of the Argentina squad that emerged victorious at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Sanches started his career at Benfica, where he made his professional debut in October 2014 for the reserves and in October 2015 for the first squad. The midfielder has a Golden Boy award to his credit.
