Kantanka Automobile, an indigenous Ghanaian car manufacturing company founded by Apostle Dr. Ing. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, is exemplifying the notion that "Africans are capable of managing their own affairs." For centuries, the global north, primarily Europe, America, and Asia, has dominated the car manufacturing industry. However, Kantanka Automobile has recently emerged as a manufacturer of some of the world's finest cars, utilizing local components and human resources.
In 1998, Kantanka produced its first Complete Built
Unit (CBU), incorporating over 75% locally sourced components, including the
engine block. By 2006, they introduced their inaugural SUV model, the ONANTEFO.
Today, the Kantanka brand proudly presents five distinct car models in the
market, with several others unveiled and awaiting introduction to consumers.

1. Kantanka Onantefo 4×4
Kantanka Onantefo offers a soothing and luxurious interior, featuring ergonomic seats with unique designs, an efficient climate control system to alleviate stress, and a 2.4 Multi-Point Injector (MPI) engine with a fuel consumption of 10.3 liters per 100 km.
Kantanka Amoanimaa is a stylish saloon car powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 102 horsepower. With a five-speed automatic transmission, it boasts an elegant dark interior with soft-touch surfaces. The spacious rear seats and improved front seat design ensure passenger comfort.
Kantanka Mensah, an automatic saloon car, showcases a 4866mm long body and 2775mm long wheelbase. Its inductive ease-open trunk provides ample storage space of 510 liters. The car is equipped with a 2.4cc engine and a four-wheel independent suspension system.
Kantanka K71 is a luxurious high-performance vehicle featuring modern standard technical features. Equipped with a driver front airbag, ABS/EBD system, and Rear Camera View, it boasts an energy-absorbing steering column. The car's practicality is amplified by its unique 1.5cc engine, achieving a fuel consumption of 5.8 liters per 100 km.
Kantanka Omama is a 4x4 pickup with a 2500cc 4-stroke 4-cylinder inline (TDI) electronic engine. It achieves a fuel economy of 7.8 liters per 100 km. Inside, the Omama features a beautifully designed interior with elements such as a unique ECU monitor, Bluetooth system, USB/AUX interface, adjustable steering wheel, and an efficient climate control stereo system.
