Spurs are attempting to renegotiate Harry Kane's transfer while he remains stuck at Stansted airport

Harry Kane's journey to Germany to finalize his transfer to Bayern Munich was halted by Tottenham this morning, leaving him stuck at Stansted Airport.

The blockbuster transfer of the striker for £100 million was reportedly being renegotiated by Spurs, which would prevent him from leaving as scheduled.

To complete a physical and finalize his move to the German giants, Kane will take a trip to Munich in the early afternoon, approximately five hours later than originally scheduled. According to Tottenham insiders, Kane is authorized to fly.

The 30-year-old England captain Kane's medical appointment will now take place later in the day. Kane was scheduled to arrive in Munich at around 10am local time.

Andreas Jung, a member of the Bayern board, said the club's acquisition of the Spurs star was "something special."

We have never paid a player at that level before, according to Jung. "For us, it is something special" It demonstrates that we are rivals with the others. We'll have a team that can compete in every match and win.

Following weeks of conversations between club executives, the future of the Tottenham star in north London has become the topic of much discussion this summer, Daily Mail wrote.

Mail Sport said that negotiations between Bayern, Tottenham, and Kane continued into Thursday as they attempted to complete a deal after reaching an agreement on a £100 million transfer fee.

Germany had hoped that Kane's contract would be revealed today and that the player would be formally introduced before tomorrow's German Super Cup.

In order to play against RB Leipzig tomorrow, Mail Sport believes that Kane would have needed to be registered by 2pm (UK time), a date he is now unlikely to reach.

After the parties reached an agreement, Mail Sport revealed that Kane and Tottenham's contractual and financial details were still being worked out on Thursday. In addition, problems with the division of intermediary fees were also being resolved.

Bayern has been very vocal about its pursuit of Kane, with both chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen and honorary president Uli Hoeness making comments about the forward.

Kane is now in a frustrating situation, and Tottenham is also annoyed.

Tottenham is almost expected to get a nine-figure payment, even if the guaranteed portion of the arrangement is thought to be less than £100 million.

Levy estimates the talismanic striker's worth at £120 million, but sources claimed that offers around £100 million would be sufficient to persuade the club to dump a player for free the following summer.
