Swedru All Blacks unveiled new technical director, Rene Koster
Swedru All Blacks United FC ,1998 SWAG Cup champions have unveiled a Dutch tactician Rene Koster as the club's new Technical Director.
Rene Koster who arrived in the country on Tuesday, holds a UEFA license A certificate, is expected to bring his rich experience and expertise on board to help scout, nurture and develop Talents for both domestic and the international market.
Koster, was unveiled today at the Genevieva lodge to the supporters and the media by the General manager, Mr Ahmed Barry and the Technical team. Rene Koster was delighted to meet the supporters of Swedru All Blacks this afternoon, and introduced himself to the fans and highlighted on his vision to the magic supporters that he is expected to bring strategic plans and implementations that will ensure the qualification of Swedru All Blacks back to its" glorious days.
The former Bangladesh national team gaffer, Rene Koster said, he has signed a short term contract with All blacks which will improve the team both on and off the pitch and also ready to work with the coaches and the technical team.
He[Rene] said, "I'm also here to see the level of the team, the level players, the level of coach and the level of facilities but am already happy with the team and the organization of the club and the people helping and is up to me to work with the technical team to improve in coaching and improve in playing style and also go through the country to look for talents to help the team and also help the players to play in Europe".
"If you want to win the league, you can't win it with only young players but you need to have the players who are already there. But is a combination that we will buy a big players and also scout a young players and I don't look at the age but rather I look at the qualities of the players". Said Rene Koster.
He said, "We can also bring a player for a trials in Europe and we have partner with an academy in Spain and that is Andechira they play in the third level in Spain and because you can't expert a player who play in Swedru(All blacks) to right away play in Barcelona. I have a player who played Andechira in the third tier but has now move to the top and that is the podium, so I can say that Swedru All Blacks have partner with FC Andechira in Spain".
"I will train with the team and the coach and if am ask to be on the bench, I will come because here is 15,000 supporters and in Bangladesh is 80,000 supporters and that is what I like, but if am ask to stay back I will" answered Rene Koster.
"I am super excited to join Swedru All Blacks United FC as a Technical Director and my aim is to build a strong cohesive and competitive team that showcase an attractive style of football while maintaining a solid defensive structure" . said Rene Koster.
"We are delighted to have you [Rene Koster] on board as our Technical Director " expressed Mr Ekow Annam, former chaplain of Swedru All Blacks United FC".
