Napoli beat Udinese 4-1 to get back on the winning track, with Victor Osimhen scoring.
Festy Obesele fouled Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the box, and after reviewing the sideline video, the referee decided to give a penalty kick. Piotr Zielinski took it, and he expertly finished by sending Marco Silvestri the wrong way.
Osimhen scored after a tumultuous day in which his agent said that he was considering suing Napoli over a social media post by the club. He took Politano's pass in stride before flicking past Silvestri.
Kvaratskhelia increased the lead to three by expertly flicking the ball over the Udinese goalkeeper and finishing from close range after hitting the post twice.
Lazar Samardzic scored a superb individual goal for Udinese to open the scoring after he outran three defenders, exchanged passes with Isaac Success, outran two more defenders, and scored.
The score was very close for just two minutes before Kvaratskhelia set up Giovanni Simeone, a replacement for Napoli, to restore the three-goal lead.
With Inter's loss, Napoli moves up to fifth in the standings and is now only five points behind first place. Udinese falls to third from last.
