Central African Republic hopeful for a win against the Black Stars
Head coach of the senior men's team of the Central African Republic (CAR) Raoul Savoy says his team is confident of securing a win against the Ghana Black Stars in their last game for the African Cup of Nations.
He referenced his side's win against the Super Eagle of Nigeria as an indication they could win against the Black Stars away from home.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of the game, Savoy said: “Nigeria never expected us to beat them at home but we did,”
The Les Fauves needs to secure all three points for a spot in the continental showcase in Côte d'Ivoire.
CAR will take on the Black Stars who at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi tomorrow, September 7, 2023.
