Mohammed Kudus scores first goal for West Ham after an early mistake by Ogbonna

West Ham came from behind to defeat TSC Backa Topola 3-1 in their debut match of the UEFA Europa League thanks in large part to Mohammed Kudus, who scored one goal and assisted on another.
The well-prepared Serbian team frustrated West Ham in the first half and seized the lead early in the second when Petar Stanic intercepted Angelo Ogbonna's pass and went through on goal to score, EuroSport wrote.
Nemanja Petrovic deflected Said Benrahma's cross into his own net while under pressure from Kudus, giving West Ham a chance to tie the score.
Four minutes later, Kudus headed home a corner from James Ward-Prowse to give the hosts the lead. Substitute Tomas Soucek did the same thing late in the game to make it 3-1.
Even though West Ham eventually cruised to win and another replacement, Michail Antonio, twice came within inches of scoring, their inclusion on the field was a direct result of the worry Backa Topola had caused them.
West Ham now leads Group A after the victory, ahead of Freiburg on goal differential after the Germans defeated Olympiacos 3-2.
