The Aspire Institute 2024 Aspire Leaders Program invites applications from low-income, first-generation college students and recent graduates worldwide.
This free online program offers a three-module leadership development journey, including professional competency training, a Harvard faculty-curated course, and dynamic seminars led by renowned educators.

About Aspire Institute:
Formerly known as the Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program (CELP) launched by the Mittal South Asia Institute at Harvard in partnership with the Harvard Club of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council), the Aspire Institute became an independent non-profit in October 2021.
It succeeded CELP with a vision of empowering young individuals to reach their full potential and contribute their leadership and talents to create thriving communities.
Benefits of the Aspire Institute Leaders Program:
Module I: Personal and Professional Development:
- Assessment of leadership skills based on strengths.
- Access to professional development resources in collaboration with Harvard Business School. This includes guidance on creating a LinkedIn profile, crafting resumes, interviewing tips, and networking strategies.
- Engaging live interactions with a diverse global cohort of peers.
Module II: Aspire Leadership Course: Societal Impact for First-Generation Leaders:
- A six-session leadership development course, supplemented with an extra week for coursework, designed and delivered by Harvard University faculty.
- Week One: Self-discovery as a Leader.
- Week Two: Understanding Context and Trust Building.
- Week Three: Exploration of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence.
- Week Four: Live Discussion - Tackling Community Challenges.
- Week Five: Insights from Accomplished Leaders.
- Week Six: Live Discussion - Taking Action in Global Communities.
- Week Seven: Independent Coursework and Module 3 Preparation.
Module III: Immersive Learning:
- Masterclasses led by renowned educators from various universities worldwide.
- A blend of asynchronous and synchronous learning experiences with a diverse global cohort of peers and mentors.
Requirements for Aspire Institute Leaders Program Qualification:
- Age between 18-26 years old.
- A background with low income.
- Status as a first-generation college student or recent graduate, not currently enrolled in a graduate program.
- Proficiency in intermediate-level English.
