For international students admitted since Fall 2020:
- Hold a study permit, not permanent residents or Canadian citizens.
- Full-time enrollment throughout the study.
- No other tuition fee exemption.

International students in graduate studies receive partial or complete exemption from additional tuition fees:

- Complete waiver: $21,593.35/year (45 credits)
Applicable to various tuition fees.
University Of Montreal 2024-2025 Requirements for Postgraduate Scholarship
The UdeM exemption scholarship applies to international students, except French and French-speaking Belgian students, who:
- Received admission offer since Fall 2020.
- Possess valid study authorizations.
- Maintain full-time enrollment.
- Meet specific conditions.
