United Nations University (UNU) 2023 Masters Scholarship for Developing Countries

Since 2017, the Joint Master’s Programme has been a part of a select group of international postgraduate programs benefiting from the EPOS funding scheme provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

This joint M.Sc. program equips postgraduate students with comprehensive knowledge, critical understanding, strategies, and the tools necessary for taking an interdisciplinary approach to environmental risks and human security.

It marks the third study program in Bonn to gain admission to the DAAD funding scheme, alongside the ZEF Doctoral Studies program and the ARTS study program offered by the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bonn.

This master's program is the result of a fruitful collaboration between the University of Bonn's Department of Geography and the United Nations University.

It makes a significant contribution to the internationalization of the University of Bonn and is supported by the German agency, DAAD.
