Canadian University Dubai is committed to providing a quality Canadian education that embraces diversity and inclusivity. To ensure that financial constraints and special needs do not hinder your education, CUD offers a range of scholarships to reward high academic achievers. These scholarships cover various categories:
- Academic Excellence Scholarship
- Financial Hardship Scholarship
- Study Scholarship (Applicable for both Undergraduate and Graduate students)
About Canadian University Dubai:
Canadian University Dubai (CUD), established in 2006, is a private institution of higher education located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Following the Canadian curriculum, CUD provides a diverse and internationally recognized educational experience.
Originally known as the Centennial University of Dubai, it became the independent Canadian University Dubai.
Requirements for Canadian University Dubai Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification:
- Scholarships are open to students of any nationality who have met all admission requirements.
- Scholarships are awarded to full-time students enrolled in four or more academic courses per semester.
In the case of financial hardship and special needs scholarships, the number of academic courses required may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but a minimum of four academic courses is recommended.
Scholarships are valid for credit-bearing courses only.
- Maintaining the required cumulative grade point average (CGPA) is necessary to continue the scholarship. Special needs scholarships may have different CGPA requirements, depending on the case.
- Scholarships are valid for two successive semesters (Fall and Spring) and are not applicable to Summer semesters.
- Scholarships only apply to current tuition fees.
- Students can apply for multiple scholarships if they meet the eligibility criteria. If a student qualifies for more than one benefit, they can choose the one with the highest value.
- All remaining fees, including tuition and housing, must be paid promptly to receive and maintain the scholarship.
Selection Criteria for Canadian University Dubai 2024-2025 Undergraduate Scholarships for worldwide Students:
- 50% TUITION WAIVER: High school students must have achieved an academic average of 99%* or above to apply for a 50% tuition waiver.
Current CUD students renewing their scholarship require a semester CGPA of 3.98 or higher.
- 40% TUITION WAIVER: High school students need an academic average between 95 – 98.9%* for a 40% tuition waiver.
For current CUD students, a semester CGPA of 3.95 – 3.97 is required to renew the scholarship.
- 30% TUITION WAIVER: High school students with an academic average of 90 – 94.9%* are eligible for a 30% tuition waiver.
Current CUD students must maintain a semester CGPA of 3.9 – 3.94 to renew the scholarship.
- 20% TUITION WAIVER: High school students need an academic average between 85 – 89.9%* for a 20% tuition waiver.
Current CUD students renewing their scholarship require a semester CGPA between 3.85 – 3.89.
- 10% TUITION WAIVER (RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY): High school students who received an automatic 20% tuition waiver for their first semester and maintain a 3.8 – 3.84 CGPA may be eligible for a 10% tuition waiver on the subsequent semester.
Application Deadline for Canadian University Dubai 2024-2025 Undergraduate Scholarships is December 20, 2023.
How to Apply for Canadian University Dubai 2024-2025 Undergraduate Scholarships:
Ensure timely submission of your scholarship application, as late or incomplete applications will not be considered by the scholarship committee.
