Erik Ten Hag will lose the power to transfer

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe set to join Manchester United shortly, Erik ten Hag's position looks secure, although the publication claims the United head coach will play a less part in transfers.
Ten Hag will not be fired once Ratcliffe's buyout is finalized and he assumes control of football operations, despite the fact that they have lost five of their first ten Premier League games this season. However, the billionaire's preference for a structure akin to Manchester City's will mean that recruitment will be delegated to a sporting director.
According to the i newspaper, Ten Hag overcommitted, and his penchant for former Eredivisie players hasn't paid off much thus far.
“Former Tottenham head of recruitment Paul Mitchell is a frontrunner to become Ratcliffe’s new sporting director.
“Mitchell has just left his role at Monaco, where he lived close to Ratcliffe and “operated in the same circles”. He has also moved back to the Manchester area and is interested in a move to Old Trafford.”
