Erik Ten Hag won't let go off McTominay

Allowing Scott McTominay to depart Manchester United in January is not something Erik ten Hag is interested in doing.

That's according to the Daily Star, which claims the Scotland international has "become too important for Reds boss Ten Hag to lose - even though the club tried to sell him in the summer".

The article continues: "West Ham were close to clinching a £50 million deal for McTominay, who also attracted interest from Newcastle.

"But the Scotland star has impressed his club boss in training and also through his commitment to United. Ten Hag also feels he can’t afford to lose another body from what has been an injury-hit squad this season."
