Job Description:
As an Accountant at Halliburton, you'll work under general supervision, gaining a deep understanding of the company's business systems, processes, controls, and relevant policies.
Your responsibilities include preparing accounting reports, handling complex accounting analyses with related spreadsheets or applications input, and resolving issues efficiently.
Understanding the organization's structure is crucial in this role, as you'll prepare and post journal vouchers for various accounting transactions.
You'll also research and resolve basic accounting issues and transactions, including related internal controls.
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or a related field, along with a minimum of nine months of experience in accounting-related roles. Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles is required.
This job is developmental, offering exposure to moderately complex aspects of general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and financial applications.
