Victor Osimhen's replacement at Serie A champin Napoli might be Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus if the Nigerian international decides to quit the team. In the meanwhile, if Wayne Rooney is appointed Birmingham City manager, he may hire former teammates Ashley Cole and John O'Shea as backroom staff, and Manchester United is reportedly interested in Atletico Madrid defender Jose Maria Gimenez.

According to a report in the Mail, Napoli has "identified" Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus as a potential replacement for Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen's future with the Serie A champions is now in doubt after a club-released social media film appeared to make fun of the striker.

The 26 goals scored by the Nigerian international last season helped Napoli win the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years.

The Mail has the tale, which was first published by the Italian publication Calciomercato.

According to the report, Napoli is 'considering Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus' as a potential Victor Osimhen replacement, Eurosport reported.

“According to reports in Calciomercato, Rudi Garcia's side have identified Jesus as one option, along with Lille's Jonathan David and Atletico Madrid's Alvaro Morata."
