Julian Draxler quits the pitch without a replacement, Qatar stars league announce unexpected incident

 Al-Ahli could no longer replace the wounded German since he had already made three substitutes when Draxler left.

After the interval, with the score at 0–3, Draxler entered as a replacement and, with a quick brace (62nd/66th), gave his team fresh hope. Al-Ahli also let up the goal in the ninetieth minute following his injury, meaning the final score was 2-4, eurosport wrote.

“Julian had injured his thigh,” explained the Qatar Stars League when asked by “Sportbuzzer”.

Since signing a contract with the first division team in Qatar in September, the 30-year-old has played in three games and already accumulated four scoring points.
