Position Overview:

Newmont is seeking a Mine Maintenance Parts Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and controlling maintenance spare parts for our mining site. 

As the Spare Parts Coordinator, your responsibilities will include ensuring the availability of parts, updating component tracking in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and maintaining the quality and accuracy of materials. 

Your role also involves kitting and staging of materials or parts for maintenance work, thereby supporting the efficiency of our operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

- A degree or diploma in an Electrical or Mechanical engineering field is highly desirable, with three years of hands-on field experience, or a maintenance apprenticeship graduate with five years of post-qualification experience.

- Additional knowledge in supply chain is advantageous.

- Demonstrable knowledge of heavy/light mobile maintenance industry principles and standards.

- Proficiency in industrial work management processes, planning, and scheduling.

- Experience with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as SAP.

- General knowledge of performance measures, defect elimination methodologies, and reliability-centered maintenance.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

- Strong planning, organizing, time management, and task prioritization skills.

- Experience with document management, contract management, and quality management.

- Capable of interpreting mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and manuals.
