Parents of Liverpool's star, Luiz Diaz, kidnapped

The parents of Liverpool FC's Colombian striker Luis DÃaz have been abducted. President Gustavo Petro of Colombia declared on "X" that the mother of the national player had now been set free by the police in a liberation operation that took place at the highest level of government.
The player's father is still being sought after. Jürgen Klopp, the coach, also shared his thoughts on the event, eurosport reported.
The 26-year-old left-winger's parents, Luis Manuel DÃaz and Cilenis Marulanda, were reportedly approached by armed men riding motorcycles at a gas station in their hometown of Barrancas, in the country's north.
According to the military, a Black Hawk military chopper is circling the region in an attempt to locate the kidnappers and the player's father.

At first, Luis DÃaz remained silent about the kidnapping. On Sunday afternoon, Jürgen Klopp's Reds take on Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
