University Of Ottawa Undergraduate African Scholarships 2024
The University of Ottawa takes pride in its diverse international student body. They offer renewable undergraduate scholarships to citizens of African countries who are admitted for the Fall 2024 term or later, have an admission average of 80% or higher, study in English, and enroll in the faculties of Engineering, Science, or Social Sciences.
This scholarship significantly reduces tuition fees, ranging from $17,500 to $25,000 for excellence scholarships and $12,000 to $20,000 for entrance scholarships, depending on the program, annually.
Eligible students receive this scholarship automatically upon enrollment, applied directly to their tuition fees. Note that the Entrance scholarship can't be combined with the Excellence Scholarship for African Students Studying in English.
The scholarship program at the University of Ottawa is known for its generosity in Canada. It rewards not only your pre-university academic achievements but also your accomplishments throughout your full-time university study.
This scholarship opens up access to various pilot programs in three faculties, significantly reducing the cost of tuition for African students studying in English.
Excellence scholarships are competitively awarded to top candidates with an admission average of 90% or higher who apply for admission by April 1, 2024, with admission processed by April 15, 2024.
Preference is given to candidates who select the University of Ottawa as their first choice. Recipients must start their program in September. Efforts are made to ensure each faculty awards an equal number of scholarships.
