Requirements for Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarship Qualification: Shaping Tomorrow's Environmental Leaders

To be eligible for the Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarship, MESPOM applicants must meet specific criteria:

1. Educational Background: Applicants should possess a first degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) from a recognized university or institution of higher education, with a minimum of three years of full-time studies.

2. Field of Study: The first degree should be in environmental studies or closely related fields. However, candidates with degrees in agricultural studies, social sciences, legal and administrative studies, economics, engineering, or natural sciences will also be considered if they demonstrate a commitment to environmental challenges through voluntary or professional work.

3. Proficiency in English: Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English. If English is not the applicant's first language, standardized English language test scores, such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), are required.

4. Selection Criteria: Admission to MESPOM is based on academic and intellectual excellence, motivation, and prior experience. To create a multicultural learning environment, the Consortium strives to achieve a balance between various geographic and disciplinary backgrounds of MESPOM students.

3. Essay of Career Goals/Statement (Academic Writing Submission

4. Curriculum Vitae or Resume

5. Proof of English Proficiency

7. Proof of Residency for Selected Candidates

Submission of these documents is a prerequisite for enrollment in the MESPOM program.

How to Apply: A Step Towards a Sustainable Future

Central European University manages the admission process formalities on behalf of the MESPOM Consortium. 

To begin the application process, candidates are required to fill in the CEU online application form, carefully following the provided instructions and the list of documents to be submitted.

Notably, MESPOM applicants are exempt from paying the CEU application fee if they do not apply to other programs. As of 2018, candidates can submit two applications and apply for either the Lund or the Manchester tracks. 

It is crucial for applicants to understand the differences between these tracks and clearly express their preference in the statement of purpose if applying for both.
