Participants will stress the urgency of coming together, sharing experiences, and developing solutions to defend civic rights.

The Civic Space Outlook launch is poised to be a landmark moment for advocates of citizenship rights and freedoms in Ghana. Organized by Spaces For Change, a dynamic non-profit organization focused on integrating human rights into social and economic governance, the event is supported by the Ford Foundation through the Civic Space Resource Hub.

Spaces For Change aims to empower civic actors and enhance democratic participation through research, advocacy, youth engagement, and community action.

As the event approaches, excitement is building for what promises to be a powerful and necessary discussion about the future of civic rights and freedoms in Ghana. With leaders like Joseph Wemakor at the forefront, the conversation is set to advance critical insights on protecting civic space.
