Accra Hearts of Oak has announced the appointment of Samuel Boadu as new manager.

The promising manager joins on a three and half year deal after ending his three years tenure with Medeama last week.

The Hearts of Oak managerial position became vacant after the controversial and shocking departure of Kosta Papic.

Manager of the club’s U-15 side Samuel Nii Noi was named interim manager. He led the team in three games, beating Ebusua Dwarfs 3-2, Liberty Professionals 1-0 and drawing 0-0 against bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko.

Samuel Boadu is expected to continue with the team’s impressive form as they hope to win their first Premier league title since 2009.

The former Asokwa Deportivo manager is expected to be on the touch line when Hearts of Oak play WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak currently sit 5th on the league table with 24 points after 16 games.

Meanwhile, Former Aduana Stars head coach W.O Tandoh will assist Samuel Boadu as they continue to rebuild their technical team.
