The National Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party {NPP}, Mr. Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah has called on the Grass root supporters of the NPP to be patient and rally behind the party to break the eight {8} by winning the 2024 presidential election.
Mr. Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah urged the vast majority in the party grassroots who are affected or unhappy with the leadership disconnect, to remain patient and supportive of the party and government to capture power in 2024.
He added that the party will approach grassroots engagement, not merely as an attempt to appease the frustrations of the grassroots, but rather as a sustained strategy for the long-term success of the party.
Speaking to Kingdom News at the 29th anniversary of the NPP, the National Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party {NPP}, Mr. Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah noted that the leadership must rise to the occasion to lead primarily, to create and maintain a calm and supportive party environment.
He further mentioned that the NPP has established more social intervention programs than any other political party in the Ghana. He explained that these programs are catalyst for development so there is the need for Ghanaians to still go for NPP on 2024 presidential election, because if the NDC comes to power, they will retard development as they did, when they took power from former president John Agyekum Kufuor in 2008.
