Zero reaction at Mahama’s office after EC’s pronouncement of 2020 presidential election winner (Video)

December 10, 2020

Few minutes after the declaration of the 2020 presidential election results, the office of John Mahama was rather in a sober state with very small engagement.

Scores of NDC party representatives besieged the headquarters of the Electoral Commission before the declaration of the results, protesting the results that represented a victory for the ruling New Patriotic Party at that time.

Nevertheless the winner of the 2020 general elections was elected President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Nana Akufo-Addo polled 6,730,413, representing 51,595 percent, while John Mahama won 6, 214, 889,
representing 47,366 percent, with dozen candidates, in the 8th election in the 4th Republic.
