Poetry: Race of the Unseen

December 15, 2021

 Race Of The Unseen

 It matters not the dark,

But what sees the heart,

So clear than the eyes’ vision.

The mind kowtows in confirmation.

Alas, the results of the battle

the face portray.

Of determination,

Whether bitter or sweet

His, is to tell.

To the onlooker

Form your interpretation of results

You care enough, you ask.

For these are not just sweats

But a tough struggle.
